The default resolution of the dashboard camera is 720P as well as we suggest making use of the 720P setting. This is due to the fact that video clip files videotaped by Full HD 1080P are too large as well as it is bad for long-lasting loophole recording. If you would love to make use of the Full HD 1080P resolution, you can download and upgrade the firmware on official web site.

The car camera works well. Nice, sleek design. The clarity is good (720p). You won’t be able to make out license plates from more than several feet away, but the overall clarity is good. The camera can accept up to a 32GB micro-SD card to store recordings. It starts recording automatically when you start the car if plugged in. You need to have the camera plugged in at all times; the battery only lasts about 10 seconds after you turn the car off. It comes with a long cable that you can wrap around the windshield as needed. Overall, it’s a good camera for the price. However, there are two reasons I didn’t give this camera 5 stars: 1) The newest recordings are placed at the very bottom of the list. Would have been great to have the latest recordings appear first, at the top. This is an issue because the list takes a bit of time to refresh all of the individual images (thumbnails). By default, the camera records 1 minute AVI files, so the recordings will add up quickly. After a few weeks of driving, you’ll be scrolling forever. Although you can scroll quickly to the end, you still have to wait for the images to refresh before you can access them. 2) The Wi-Fi works. It connects easily to your phone.
It works….. still

Update-12/31/18- So I was looking for a new SD card to purchase and I came across the one that I purchased a year ago Feb 2018 when I also bought this camera. When I realized that I’ve now had this camera for virtually a year, I decided to update my review one last time. This camera is still working perfectly. I paid $36 for it and I was convinced I was going to be lucky if I had it through the summer. Well it’s still on my windshield and even though it’s been pretty darn cold out lately, and freakin hot this past summer, I’ve had no issues with it. I just purchased a new dashcam today and I think I will be using this pruveeo camera for my back windshield. Why retire something when it still works great? My issues are still the same as before, you can’t really see license plates unless your right on their butts and you’re pretty limited to the viewing angles, no external way to move the cameras lens to view different sides of the street. Now that I know a bit more of what I’m dealing with, I’ve decided I would like a wider viewing angle and clearer video.
Great camera, blends seamlessly behind the rearview mirror

Good quality camera and pretty easy to use. Please note that most new BMWs lighter plugs don’t turn off with ignition off so i end up having to unplug it each time, but its still a good value for the camera. Provided adhesive is not the best of quality and camera came off after being installed for about 10 days. Box comes with more than one adhesive pieces so i do have a back up to use. Overall, video quality is very good during the day and above average at night. Wifi connectivity is pretty seamless and works both to view/download the videos or project live camera image through your phone screen. cigarette lighter adapter comes with long enough cord to run along the windshield to semi hide the cables, but beware if your car only has one lighter adapter in the front, you won’t be able to use that for anything else if the camera is plugged in so i ended up ordered a 10ft long Mini USB cable with a USB connector so i can use a lighter adapter with multiple USB connections. Overall, i like it enough to order another one for the second car.
Excellent little dashcam! Can’t ask for more at this price.

This is a great little dash cam for the money!. It does everything I need for it to do which is recording the few minutes before an accident occurs as documentation of the facts. The MOV file it records in 720P is more than sharp enough for proof. Love the fact it has wifi capabilities so I can review a recording right away on my Samsung Galaxy phone if necessary while staying small enough so it is somewhat hidden unlike those cams with the big suction mounts. I had one of those and did not like how it really stuck down and was so obvious on the windshield. Note: This is a revision to an earlier review where I had some problems but with the seller’s great customer service, was able to resolve.
So far all ok-connecting to iphone tricky

Got this today. Installation is easy and the power cable is long enough for a mid size SUV. At first I couldn’t coonect the iphone (7plus IOS 10.3.2) to it. It would see the wifi created by the camera but it wouldn’t coonect. After a bit of research I figured that I had to turn off the cellular data on the iphone in order to “see” the camera. After that trick I connected no problem via app and changed the settings. This can be fixed by the manufacturer for future models I guess. The other issue I have is that the red LED light on the power charger does not turn on at all, even if it is actually working. Because I installed the camera so I don’t see it behind the rearview mirror, I have to check to make sure that the camera is properly powered nd not running on batteries. There’s a chime sound coming out of it when it powers on automatically, that helps. Other than that so far so good. I will report any issues if any by updating the review.
